Approved Housing Body Acquisitions
Our Real Estate team act on behalf of a number of Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs) and have advised them on residential purchases from the private second hand market to large-scale new build developments. We have also helped AHBs with their funding through a combination of private finance, state schemes such as the Capital Assistance Scheme (CAS) and Capital Lease Facility (CALF), and funding from the Housing Finance Agency (HFA). We have a key understanding of the legal challenges and statutory requirements that accompany social and affordable housing developments.
